Some lego animations using real effects. What this means. All visual effects you see on screen such as motion blur, explosions, smoke, lasers, glares etc were all created as the photo is being taken. No CGI is added. Photoshop is only used to remove support wires etc. (See the Facebook page for set-up photos and explanations) A lot of time is also spent on sound design so watch these films on a decent system with loads of bass. I only produce a film every half year or so. Thanks to everyone for their support, it's always much appreciated. It's nearly dark outside, back to filming. conta

About namchild

namchild is a UK-based stop-motion animator who makes LEGO films in which effects such as explosions, smoke, lasers and motion blur are captured during filming rather than added digitally. The channel publishes irregularly, roughly one film every six months, and its most recent upload is more than a year old. Its catalogue includes multi-part series such as Down the Hatch and music videos like The Duel.

The audience is estimated to be a niche group of animation and LEGO enthusiasts, mostly adult men, concentrated in the UK and the US. Those viewers tend to be attentive to production detail and sound design. The channel's median of about 5,300 views per video is modest, though its top video reached 342,736 views.

Brands in toy, hobby or film categories may find the channel useful for a small, craft-focused campaign. Estimated sponsored rates are $150 to $250 per video, which works out to roughly $28 to $47 CPM on a median view basis, well above the $10 typical for paid ads, so the channel is better for targeted storytelling than for reach.
