Hi! We're Jenna and Derek. Our large family of 11 is all about homesteading and raising our own food as naturally and sustainable as possible. We raise all of our own non gmo and soy free pasture raised pork, chicken and eggs, 100% grass fed beef. We also have family milk cows and goats that we milk for making our own dairy products. We garden and grow much of our produce in both our raised bed garden as well as an in ground garden. We can and preserve food for the year and cook all of our meals from scratch. Join us on our homesteading journey as we grow and eat clean, healthy, real food! E

About The Flip Flop Barnyard

The Flip Flop Barnyard is a homesteading channel run by Jenna and Derek from Pembroke, Virginia. Their large family raises pasture-raised pork, chicken, eggs and grass-fed beef, keeps family milk cows and dairy goats, and grows produce in raised-bed and in-ground gardens. Videos cover milking, cheesemaking, garden planting, pantry organization and an ongoing homestead house build, with most uploads running eight to twenty minutes and a recent slowdown in posting.

The audience appears to be mostly American adults in the 25 to 44 range, estimated from the content and not from channel analytics, and skews toward women. Viewers tend to be practical homesteaders and people interested in self-sufficient food. Brand work is limited, with collaborations seen with Nine Little Aussies and Stark Bros.

At roughly $150 to $250 per sponsored video, the rate is based on a median of about 420 views, which works out to a CPM of about $20 to $35 per 1,000 views. Compared with typical paid-ad CPMs of $10 to $30, that is a premium that should be justified by the audience's trust and fit. Brands selling farm supplies, kitchen tools or garden products are the best fit.
